Heroin and crack addiction left Annesa without family

“Leaving Broadway Lodge I haven’t looked back. Over the years I’ve learnt to love myself, I’ve built fabulous friendships, I have a wonderful marriage today, wonderful children, a wonderful home, my family now want me and believe in me…my life today is more than I ever would have expected.”

Annesa was gripped by addiction for 11 years, using substances including heroin, crack cocaine and valium. Like many in her situation, her family disowned her and she didn’t know herself anymore. Her third and final stay in rehab was at Broadway Lodge and she hasn’t looked back since.
