The imminent admission into a residential rehab centre can be extremely daunting and nerve-wracking and it’s very common to be feeling a range of emotions about the ‘unknowns’ of the journey ahead.
When staying at Broadway Lodge, clients will be involved with a wide range of therapeutic activities in addition to one to one counselling and group therapy.
Whilst at the TOWER group, we got speaking to two members of the group, Edna and Simon, who are local celebrities and have appeared in local and national newspapers, documentaries and TV reality shows because of their unique relationship.
Yesterday we celebrated 25 years of service not just for one, but two members of the Broadway Lodge team who will be familiar faces to hundreds of clients who have passed through Broadway’s doors.
Patients were treated to a special visit on Thursday evening from Henry Maybury, a singer songwriter, along with his mum Sally who together set up the Lost Days Charitable Aid Trust.

Broadway Lodge Addiction Centre has been involved in an exciting project with film maker Phillip Wood of Rare Day Productions on behalf of the BBC to produce a film entitled Rehab: Lives Addicted, which will be available to view on BBC 3 through the iPlayer initially from June 7th 2017 at 10.00am.
We were delighted to receive a wonderful poem “At a First Meeting” by a former patient Andrew, who came to Broadway Lodge back in 1977 to receive treatment for alcohol addiction.
