September is in full swing and it’s the official Recovery Month which aims to increase understanding of substance misuse and demonstrate that recovery is possible.
Addiction is an illness that doesn’t just have a huge impact on the individual but everyone who is close to that person will be affected whether immediate relatives, friends or colleagues.
Everyone’s recovery journey in the weeks, months and years after treatment for addiction is unique and while some return to their families and jobs, others embark on a fresh start entirely.
If you or someone you know is suffering with addiction and would like to make your first life-changing step towards recovery, you can speak to us confidentially on 01934 812319 or send us a message.
