We are pleased to announce that Online Aftercare is now available each week to all former clients to access.
We work with clients to prepare them as much as possible for the transition into the community after they leave the comfort and safety of Broadway Lodge. But we also know that it’s important that they can reach out for our support when they need it throughout their recovery journey. So we are happy to now offer our Online Aftercare sessions to help them to keep on track with their recovery.
If you have stayed for treatment at Broadway Lodge, are clean and sober and have a computer or mobile device capable of video call, you are welcome to join us as often as you’d like.
Online Aftercare is held every Wednesday from 9.30am – 1pm and is led by one of our experienced counsellors using video calling platform Zoom, so it doesn’t matter where in the world you are or how long ago your treatment at Broadway Lodge was, you know you can access our support.
What does Online Aftercare involve?
Aftercare is a way to access support from one of our experienced counsellors and the other participants in the aftercare session and it offers a place for you to be honest with yourself and share your feelings with the group. It provides a confidential, non-judgmental and safe therapeutic space to give and receive support to aid your recovery from addiction. You may be encountering a difficulty you’d like to share, talk about emotions you might be struggling with or just want to check in and have the connection with us again.
Every session will have no more than 15 people involved. Normally, the agenda for Online Aftercare includes a check-in with each participant, a group therapy session and a check-out prior to finishing at 1pm.
How to book onto Online Aftercare
The Online Aftercare sessions that are available to be booked are listed on the ‘Events’ section on our website here. Usually the sessions for the following 4-6 weeks are listed and you can click on the specific date and there will be a ‘Book Now’ button. This will direct you to the payment and booking page on Eventbrite and then you’re all set! We will email you will the Zoom link and meeting details in advance so you have everything you need. There is a charge to participate which is £7.70 per session.
