We were delighted to receive a message from Shannon P, who entered recovery at Broadway Lodge almost 18 months ago, to let us know that she gave birth at the end of December to Lexi-Jane. Having children in recovery is a fantastic achievement and being able to care for them in the way we would want is an honour.
Lexi was born with a cleft palate and is still in hospital but is doing fantastically. Even more impressively her mum (Shannon) recognises that this is something she could have previously used on but is now able to deal with, in her words, “life on life terms”.
We are absolutely delighted for Shannon and her new family; hopefully we will see you both as visitors to Broadway Lodge soon.
Recovery just keeps giving.
